This RC was the first to use the cable TV on regular basis for educational purpose since 1st January 1990 at Modasa.
First dedicated Study Centre Building came up at Modasa in Ahmedabad Region in 1991 with the help of donation of a huge amount for the construction of study centre building by a person.
Regional Centre has spacious own building.
RC has celebrated its Silver Jubilee in the year 2012, which is first of its kind in the history of IGNOU.
Maximum number of Jail Inmates were enrolled and benefitted.
